Money in the mail!

We just got closer to our 2000 emergency fund....about $97 dollars closer! I opened my mail today and discovered a check from a health care facility for $97.00. Apparently we overpaid last year and had a credit. Needless to say this money will go straight into savings!

    Although my wife and I are in our forties we are in terrible financial shape. We have no savings and lots of debt. Reading your blog has been an inspiration and motivation.
